I sent I child here last summer and she had a horrible summer! She told me horrible things! When I called the place the complain, the phone was not even working. They have the worst customer service ever. My daughter said they were also hungry and was never fed enough. She was bullied at the camp and said no adult did anything about it. Week 6: Global Literarcy...Cultivating International Relationships - ACE Conference Center
We live in a Global Society and must teach our girls to function accordingly. This is a week filled with authentic global experiences. Girls will learn about different cultures, food, language and traditions. They will participate in our Global Pen Pal program and learn what their international peers experience on a daily basis. Girls will be divided into 2 groups: 7-9 & 10-13. Our capacity is 10 girls per group to ensure an enriching and impactful experience. **Inclusive every day are snacks & meals provided by Wolfgang Pucks Team, supplies, morning yoga on a Helicopter Pad (when not in use by an actual helicopter), afternoon meditation, all activities, guest speakers, workshops and more. 1-610-584-4283
Fashion Extravaganza - Thurgood Marshall Elementary
Design, make and wear your own fashion gear. This class will involve hand sewing, painting on fabric, jewelry design, fashion illustration, knitting, and learning to do fashion hairstyles. Your teacher, a fashion designer, will inspire you to try new things and express your personal style! Instructor: Britt Rynearson has been teaching art and design for 14 years and has worked extensively with students ages 3 to 18. She sold her own line of jewelry when she was 11 at local farmers markets! In the last few years Britt has taught for Cornish College of the Arts, Pratt Fine Arts Center, Gage Academy, Coyote Central, Centrum, and the Northwest School. This wild and western day camp features horses, horseback ridind, and ranch chores. A Western scavenger hunt will incorporate following directions, math and science clues to find hidden bounty. All campers will ride. Basic Horsemanship and safety will be taught. Campfire cooking skills will be included. Healthy snacks and lunch provided.
