Movement & Art Camp - Friendswood, TX
Kid Creations & Bay Area Pilates are teaming up for another 3-hour Movement & Art Camp. Kids will have FUN learning the benefits of pilates in a choreographed-for-kids pilates class for one hour and then will be escorted down the sidewalk to Kid Creations for two hours of arts and crafts. Snacks will be provided. Workshops can be attended separately. The cost is $45 for both. To come to Kid Creations alone from 1:00-3:00pm, the cost is $30. Exploring the Arts Teen Art Camp - Binghamton, NY
Exploring the Arts Teen Art Camp at Stiletto's Fine Arts Studio . Every day from 9am-1pm. Fee is $150 per child ages 11-16….a $50.00 deposit must be paid in advance to reserve your spot. You must register online at through the online booking center or call 607-239-2676. Balance is due on the first day of camp. Teen will learn to use different mediums from watercolor, acrylic, pastels. Techniques more advanced for older kids. Don’t wait to register because space is limited. AIT (Aide in Training - Girls entering grades 7-8 who have not completed AIT training) - Huddart Park
Girls entering grades 7-8 in fall 2016 are encouraged to take part in our leadership training program. This culminates in a completion ceremony on the Tuesday overnight, which all girls are encouraged to attend. The AITS are still considered campers and spend their time preparing for their future roles as program Aides the following year (entering 8th grade). It is necessary that girls registering as AITS are able to attend camp the entire two weeks of the program. The administrative team is continually striving to provide all of our campers an excellent camp experience. Well-trained Aides are critical to this goal! Please note, girls must attend camp all days to complete the AIT program. Girls who were AITs last year but did not attend all days of camp must register as an AIT again this year. **PLEASE NOTE – The AIT unit will be filled to a maximum enrollment of 60 based on the criteria of the Admission Policy. AIT spaces will be accepted using the the Admissions Policy (link below) for on-time registrations. Wait list will be processed as spaces become available. The White Sox Hitting Club will present your hitter with a step-by-step approach to hitting like a Major League player. The White Sox Hitting Club will cover plate coverage and stance, stepping into a hitting position, hand path and the lower body mechanics. There are hitting absolutes that must be present in each at bat to be successful. These absolutes make all the difference. Farm Fun - Farm Store
Farm Fun camp is a unique opportunity for campers to work with the livestock, gardens, and natural areas at Greenacres while exploring the science happening on the farm. The camp will also include plenty of games, exploration, and farm fresh treats. Past camp activities have included assisting with weighing cattle, testing soil, planting cover crops, making pickles, spending time with the sheep, and Brix testing vegetables. This camp is best suited to campers with an interest in exploring the science behind farming and gardening, who get excited about real farm work! Please wear sturdy close-toed shoes or boots. Thats right – you read correctly. This week is all about games and having FUN on the water. Kayak your way through the harbor and play games like capture the flag, sponge tag, kayak soccer, knockout, and create your own scavenger hunt.
