How Are Staff Members At Camp Trained?
During staff training, counselors and other staff members are trained in basic youth development, behavior management and common issues, group formation, diversity and cultural competency. Common issues like homesickness are also touched on, and counselors are reminded of the importance of encouraging youth to reach their full potential. The camp’s culture and mission as well as the schedule and related activities are also explained in full detail. Additionally, staff learn basic first aid and how to manage different emergencies.

Grown-Up Summer Camp - Indianapolis, IN
Remember summer camp? Remember making new friends, learning new skills, getting a cool t-shirt and having fun? Following a sold-out debut last year, we are bringing back the joy of camp, but for grown-ups only. Grown-Up Summer Camp is a day-long immersive experience with artists, musicians, chefs, curators, and performers throughout the campus. Activities include making cardboard forts to battle rival campers, discovering hidden areas of the IMA campus, foraging the woods for edible plants, and cooking dinner with Cerulean chef Caleb France. Cap off the day gathering by the campfire with a drink with live music by local bands. The IMA's ARTx Series is made possible by a gift from the Efroymson Family Fund Saturday, September 24 / 10 am-9 pm

All current NASA rocket launchers are no longer useable because all of the available rocket-fuel sources on Earth have been depleted. Participants will serve as NASA engineers tasked with developing non-fuel-based rocket launcher prototypes in an effort to maintain current and future NASA space programs and missions. Hitter Elite Camp - Alaska Airlines Center
This camp is designed to fine tune hitting technique. The camp will be an intense camp with a lot of reps and one-on-one instruction. Hitters MUST be physically ready for heavy use of legs and shoulders. The Setting Elite Camp will also be held at this time. The camp will be led by Head Coach Chris Green and staff. This camp WILL BE LIMITED to 24 hitters and 12 setters. This camp fills up quickly, register early! There is a lunch break from 12pm-1pm. Lunch will not be provided. 907-786-1226

Camp SOAR (Summer Outdoor Adventure Recreation) - Hawks Camp Partial Day Go on an outdoor adventure with us this summer! Every week campers will experience games, crafts, silly songs, making friends, and learning in a beautiful, natural park setting. Sessions include play time, singing, storytelling and a short, local field trip. All registrations include a camp shirt, a healthy snack, and a visit from a special guest. Trailblazers - Learn to make homemade granola bars, go on a nature hike, and get a visit from our trailblazing Fire Department. Focus on performance with a final performance at Antrim Playhouse in full costume and minimal set and lighting.
