More than toys, LEGO building blocks are a doorway to mathematics, science and technology. They also are a blast to play with! Students in this camp will explore creative options with blocks, then work with FIRST LEGO League Jr. simple machine kits to explore key scientific models like levers, pulleys and gears. By the end, they will be on their way to FLL Jr. participation in the upcoming competition season, or just have enjoyed great hands‐on opportunities to learn some basic engineering. This camp is designed for ages 9-14 years old (entering 8th grade or younger). The camp will focus on individual skills, team offense, defense, and transition skills. Campers will also be introduced to college level individual skills and team concepts. This is a day-only program that runs 9am to 4pm. Lunch is provided daily. 800-357-7687
