Intentional programming focuses on increasing youth’s social and developmental skills. Increased confidence and self-reflection happens when staff members push campers outside of their comfort zones. Youth learn a lot about themselves and the world thanks to team-building activities, icebreakers, and a well-rounded curriculum. Kids finally feel like they can be themselves without worrying about bullying. Campers learn useful skills like how to make a bed, conflict resolution, and public speaking. Kid's do Strollfit - Norman, OK
Second annual kids do Strollfit class. All kids are welcome to bring their baby stroller, lawn mower, anything they can push and they will do their own Strollfit class. Prizes will be given for best decorated vehicle/push item. I will assign older kids an exercise to teach to the other kids (generally 4 and up). Moms, please help them and practice with them. If you have a younger one that would like to teach, let me know and I will add them. Don't want to exclude any who wants to teach!! Be sure you bring your camera. This is the cutest class of they year!! In this introductory level, juniors learn swing fundamentals, safety, and basic fitness routines. Familiarization with the golf course and facility are also explored in a fun and non-intimidating way. Juniors develop full swing techniques and are introduced to basic chipping and putting methods. Simple rules and etiquette will get them ready for the golf course. Character Traits learned: Integrity, Sportsmanship, and Respect. 859-371-8255

Beginning Burlesque with Sasha Sullivan - Ah Haa School for the Arts
Burlesque is a celebration of femininity. Women of all ages come together for a fun-filled journey into this incredible art form, ultimately empowering their creative, sensual, feminine beings. Telluride Theatres own Sasha Sullivan and Melissa Harris, who have been teaching burlesque classes for four years, are excited take new students on an eight-week journey into the world of burlesque. They will start with the basics – the history, dance moves, striptease, creating a character, and owning your space. Students will develop their very own burlesque character and walk away with a full routine, a set of pasties, and a portrait. At the close of the class, some students will be chosen to perform at BURLESQUE, a live variety show on the Sheridan Opera House stage at the end of March, a benefit for Telluride Theatre.
