Deep Space Robot Explorers - Goleta Presbyterian Church
During this week, we take campers to the edge of the universe on a variety of missions to make a distant planet habitable for humans. Campers explore the real science behind NASAs plan for Martian colonies and accompanying engineering design activities tied into space exploration. Deep Space Robot Explorers curriculum, Terraformers, has been developed by Carnegie Mellon Universitys Robot Academy. Using MINDSTORMS NXT and Terraformers software, along with videos and animations, campers learn programming, tackle building challenges, and hone their robotic and project planning skills. As an extra bonus, campers construct and launch two of their very own Estes Rockets. We are on our way to the final frontier! *Please note that if a camper has taken our Deep Space Camp or has extensive experience with NXT Mindstorm, they can register for our Advanced LEGO EV3 Robotics camp. 805-570-1988

Drum! Percussion Camp for Absolute Beginners - MacPhail Center for Music - Minneapolis
Experience the fun of laying down a basic rock groove or the joy and energy of a large ensemble of mallet instruments. In this fantastic new camp, students will get a chance to try a variety of percussion instrument while building basic playing skills that will help prepare them to play in their school band or orchestra. Any student can join this camp, even if you have no previous experience playing an instrument. After 5 fun-filled days packed with lots of playing time on a variety of instruments, students will have a chance to show off their new skills for family and friends at a recital at the end of camp. Enchanted Creatures Camp – ages 5 -6 - Goleta Presbyterian Church
Calling all Fairies, Good-Fellows, Elves, Gnomes, Pixies, Brownies, and Sprites! Welcome boys and girls to our world of fantasy camp! Daily art projects include wishing wands, watercolor painting, creature houses, clay projects, and a variety of mixed media creations centered on the enchanting work of fairy tales! Clay-Set Sail with Clay: Kenmore - Kenmore Elementary
Join Smart with Art as we discover sea-life creatures and explore the ocean with clay! We will create a bookend influenced by Edward Hoppers art, including a relief lighthouse design. We will work with glass pieces and clay, as we create a slab box based on Hokusais The Great Wave painting. We will learn about creating coils in clay as we design a tile with a sea creature of our choice. Exploring pinch pots techniques, students will design a bigmouth fish creation. We will also dive into a multi-medium work of art that combines an acrylic painting and a clay under the sea work of art. Join us as we explore the sea and set sail in clay with Smart with Art. SPRING Junior High/PeeWee Bantam PV SKILLS 2016!!!! - Hockeytown USA
PV HOCKEY spring skills will start up on Sunday April 10th and will skate for 8 weeks, every Sunday accept Memorial day weekend. This program is designed for squirts thru bantam age and junior high. All individual skill development and a primary focus on stickhandling, passing and edges. A huge part of the program will be focused on edges and fast feet.
