2nd Session - Martial Arts - YSCP
My name is Amanda Wilt. I will be the martial arts instructor for the YSCP Extended Day Program. I am a 3rd degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do. I am both a teacher and a student of TKD. As most of us know, learning is something that is year round and a never ending practice. I would like to tell you a little about myself, so you may know me better. I received my B.S. degree in Special Education at Bloomsburg University (K-12). After college I taught through the CIU #10 and was placed in classrooms throughout the districts. I taught in Philipsburg-Osceola, Park Forest Middle School, and State College H.S. (9th/10th grades). Although I loved teaching, I made the difficult decision to stay home and homeschool my children when they arrived. I began my martial arts training at the age of 14 and started my children at Youngs Tae Kwon Do School in Bellefonte, PA when they were elementary age. They both attained the rank of black belt before they left to continue their studies in college. I was also an assistant coach for the Bellefonte H.S. swim team for 4 years. I currently teach at Youngs School... 8142379727.0

If you DARE, come to this camp, face your fears and learn about river monsters and much more. Campers will learn all about cyrptids at this camp. Cryptozoology (from Greek , kryptos, hidden + zoology; literally, study of hidden animals) is a pseudoscience involving the search for animals whose existence has not been proven due to lack of evidence. The animals cryptozoologists study are often referred to as cryptids such as the Loch Ness Monster, Yeti, Bigfoot, unicorns, alien big cats, Chupacabra and more. Cryptozoology relies heavily upon anecdotal evidence, stories, and alleged sightings. Will we have any unusual sighting? You can count on it! Campers will make some cool crypto crafts and meet some of EcoAdventures own creatures of the deep. Campers DIVE IN if you DARE to our coolest, creepiest camp of all… River Monsters! (410) 279-5416
