Learn how to speak the language of computers! Campers will dive into the exciting world of computer coding through Scratch, developed by MIT. Scratch is a block-based application designed to make it simple for anyone to learn programming. Throughout the camp, coders create projects like an epic space battle game or a "choose your own adventure" story! The possibilities to create are endless! CAMP DETAILS Musical Theater: Featuring Songs from Joseph Is your summer in need of ‘a crash of drums and a flash of light? Join us as we explore the hit musical Joseph and his coat of many colors! Students will work on movement and music as well as playing fun drama games and learning to work as an ensemble. Summer Camp - Half Day Morning - Week 7 - Mockingbird Baby
Morning: Robotic Golf Open Things on the golf course just arent the same since Lego Robotics have taken over! The holes having moving machines/obstacles and the par just keeps raising. Students will use their imagination and creativity to design and modify unique golf holes on most days. When students are not golfing, they are fighting for the most golf balls with Crabs in the sand trap and having a Golf Cart show down (maneuverability race and battle). Not only do you create your own golf course anew with different obstacles, but teams build and modify a Lego club too. On the last day, the 18th Hole, build a Hole-in-One Catapult! Go for a Hole-in-One! Go for the Robotic Golf Open! Note: Even though between some weekly sessions there might appear the same program names, in our actual education program, we will have different depth of technology and engineering principles to be applied by our children under our inspirational guidance...
