Missouri River Float Trip - Sr. Teen Camp - Lewistown, MT
Float amidst God’s beautiful creation for 4 days and 3 nights along the Missouri River. Sr. Teen Camp August 1-6 Missouri River Float Trip Boys & Girls entering grade 10 and up to age 19 Cost: $170 Register by July 25 This is a pre-register camp with limited space. Check-in time: 10am-12pm, Monday, August 1 Registrations available at www.lewtana.com Plenty of canoeing, swimming, Bible classes and day hikes along the river are on the schedule. Additional items to bring: a life jacket, a set of warm clothes, good hiking shoes, a flashlight, a modest one-piece swimsuit, a small backpack. Insect repellant and sunscreen are provided. If you have a canoe or extra lifejackets we could borrow please contact us. Camp ends with a program on Saturday at 1:30. Parents are encouraged to attend the program, as there are awards given out and a slide show of pictures from the week. This is a pre-register camp with limited space. KID'S BEGINNER SEWING ART CAMP June 15 - 17 @10am - 2pm Ages: 12-16 This is not just an ordinary "learn to sew" camp. Our students will design and create their own fabric using surface design techniques. They will learn how to use a sewing machine and also, basic sewing skills. With their new found skills they will sew a super cool backpack and pillowcase. Lots of paint, screens and unique personal designs will abound. The students will have fun experimenting with stamps, screens and printmaking to create their fabric art! We encourage our students to be Fearless and unique!!! All supplies included. 4th - 9th grades - Drama Camp - Saint Marys School
Come enjoy a week of theatrical experiences including: playwriting, costume design, the actors process, and even performance! Students will work collaboratively to create a short play which will be performed at the end of the week. They will use both imagination and research to inform their artistic choices in everything from design work to acting. Additionally, students will explore improvisational theatre in both long and short forms as a means to stimulating the playwriting process and deepening their acting skills. Students with and without theatre backgrounds are invited to come explore, learn, and play! Rachel Wright is a passionate theatre educator who seeks to help her students grow their understanding and compassion for the world, life, and humanity through the magnificent practice of theatre. She has a BS in Theatre Arts Education from Appalachian State University. After college she moved to New York to pursue a career in theatre. She was accepted by Circle in the Square Theatre Conservatory Program where she concentrated on her craft. Upon graduating she began performing in countless off and off-off broadway productions.
