Amazing Summer Adventure
We felt it was very important for our kids to spend at least a portion of the summer surrounded by nature. They got plenty of that at Moss Hollow! This was a summer of first for our children including first time in a canoe, first time sleeping overnight outside the home, first time camping, first time fishing. I cannot put into words how much CK has meant to me and I can't wait to relive the experience. Camp was easily the most life changing and happiest time of my life. With that being said....I'm back again!!! Back to plug how amazing this org and non-profit is and back to fundraising for the kids. For those of you who may not know, Camp Kesem is a camp for children's whose parents have been affected by cancer. Camp is their chance to live freely as children without any of the weight and worry of cancer. I'm so excited to embark on this journey again and can't wait until the countdown to camp begins!!! Its a weekday, and school is out! If you would like something fun for your junior scientist to do from 9:30 am until 4:30 pm, then bring ‘em on by! We will have all sorts of fun science going on at the lab. Limited seats available. Drop off begins at 9:30 am for our single day camp. We will provide a morning and afternoon science snack. Join Coastal Camp for a week of outdoor skill building! Navigate our beautiful national park using your compass and newfound map skills. Learn about the Coast Miwok, an indigenous people who thrived in the coastal landscape. Check out mysterious historical buildings and what secrets they hold.
