Teachers: Ansley Young and Pam Peters lead young artists in creating a fully functional four legged creature marionette from wood, paint, rope and more. After reading and researching myths and fairy tales, kids use their findings to construct a magical being and develop a story to tell. The story will be told in a 10-15 minute performance at the end of the week. We close online registration 24 hours prior to camp start. Come out to the YSA Regional Activity at Camp Hulaco!! Hosted by the Madison, Alabama Stake. Greenwing Golf Camp- 2016 Atikwa Golf Club Where: Atikwa Golf Club at Arrowwood Resort Cost: $60 Who: Beginner or experienced golfers- Girls & Boys ages 7-15 When: 8:30-9:30 a.m. or 1-2 p.m. on Mondays starting June 13th- August 1st Schedule: June 13th: The Basics- Grip, aim, posture and ball position. St. Davids Chess Program - St. Davids School
Sign up for the chess program at school. Students will learn chess fundamentals and strategies that enhance learning skills and critical thinking through chess. We will build confidence and have the options to compete against other local school. Novice students and experienced players are encouraged to sign up as we will have two levels. This chess coach has been teaching chess with exuberance for over 20 years. Kids love his creative style and methods to improve at chess. His students have achieved noted success at local, state, and national chess events. Hector is a Class A United State Chess Federation Player. He looks forward to meeting the Saint Davids chess team players and start getting everyone ready for competition!
