LATEST CAMPS NEWS: Staff Application 2016 - Judson Baptist Retreat Center
A JBRC Camp Staff must be a mature Christian, pleasant toward campers, counselors, and fellow workers. Must be willing to work hard and go the extra mile and must have a servants heart! Ten-Week Staff will begin on May 17, 2015 unless you are applying for a wrangler position. Our Horse Program Director will contact wranglers about when they will arrive. All Ten-Week Staff will be remaining at camp until July 24, 2015 as of January 8, 2015. This could possibly change to July 31 if we book an additional group. 225-634-7225

There are low cost or free day camp programs offered for children with special needs. Programs that are best suited for children have to provide very rigid structure, well-trained staff, and individualized attention. Some special needs programs are incorporated into a regular camp program, the “inclusion” programs. Boot Camp will give each Youthworker ALL of the basics that they need for survival in Youth Ministry in any local church context whether they are a volunteer, part-time, or full time Youthworker. In addition they receive 1 year of FREE Boot Camp Coaching led by the various expert at The Youthworker Movement. The call goes out as it always does. The Blackwatch must gather. Whatever intrigues and perils await must be endured...for the Nightlands beckon. Pre-registration and costuming required for this interactive adventure. Foam swords provided. For ages 13-19. Late registration on the day of the event will incur an additional $5 fee.

Hey there campers! We will be having a retreat out at camp for 6TH-12TH GRADE! Arrival time is at 6:30. We will be doing dinner that evening and then have a lot of games and activities planned. Brunch will be served the next morning. Check out time will be by 11:00am on Saturday. The cost is $10 per person. If your youth group plans to attend please have your Youth Leader get a hold of me. Invite your friends and let us know that you are coming so we can make plans! We are so excited about this evening and are looking forward to seeing each of you there! In our Individual Camp, campers will be taught the fundamentals of basketball through games, competitions, and drills. We have assembled a camp staff of the finest coaches from around the country to provide the best basketball learning experience possible. League play will take place daily, giving campers the opportunity to apply what they learn in clinics and lectures while improving their overall skill and basketball knowledge. Sing with a Professional [A] - Coyote Central
This course will focus on choral work and youll dive deeper into the art of listening as you build harmonies layered with solo moments. Song selection will come from around the globe as you discover your own creative singing voice. Youll be training like a professional through serious voice warm ups and voice manipulation while you sing through music genres such as the blues, rock, pop, gospel and vocal jazz. Youll work on stage presence and mic control as you figure out & break down what makes a great performance - which together youll create for a grand last day finale. All levels of singers, welcome!
