The Cobra's youth football camp is a non-contact football camp that cultivates talented young people in an effort to unite a community that has deeply supported athletics and leadership building. Participants of the Cobra's Camp will receive personal coaching from TN Cobra players and other former college players, and trained coaches. All youth (boys & girls) between the ages of 5-13 are encouraged to participate. We only have 100 spots; this event is being held at an indoor athletic facility and will not cancel due to weather. In this course, students will collaborate with a Global Partner Student from a developing country to help quench the thirst of the world. Through video message exchanges they will learn about each other and explore how water is used in each others culture, study the chemical properties of water and the water cycle, and then use the engineering design process to build, test and tweak biodomes, water towers, and water filtration systems to better understand how water systems can be polluted and purified. As their understanding of the subject matter grows, students will work closely with their Global Partners to develop a hands-on research project that shows the water problems each of their countries face while sharing practical ways to address these problems and help bring clean water to the world!
