Winter Camp: Karate Kid's Camp - Saint Peters, MO
Hey, Karate kids are you ready to learn the KARATE creed? Well come along to throw some snowballs and learn the snowman stance!! It’s going to be a Hip-Hop fun time learning all about how you can be an awesome CHOPPER!!! Campers must be 3-8 years old and bathroom independent. Hey Friends all work and these Adult camps posts has me wanting to go to camp. PROBLEM: No adult camp in SF area (aside from a digital detox hippy thing) SOLUTION: Organize One. Camp Agape 3rd Annual Memorial Run 5K and 1 Mile Kids Walk - Marble Fa
Come join Camp Agape for our 3rd annual Memorial Run 5k and 1 Mile Kids Walk! The largest team created will win a Team Trophy! Medals will be handed out to our top 3 male runners, top 3 female runners, as well as the top 3 runners in our youth division (12 and under). Each pre-registered participant will receive a free t-shirt and goody bag upon check-in. Twos (M-F) (birthdays between 9/1/13 and 8/31/14) - JCC ECP
Daily activities for children who are in the two-year-old program are based upon projects and units of study. A balanced schedule provides experiences in group and individual settings and includes stories, music, language experiences, natural discovery, and inquisitive discussions. Classrooms are arranged into centers that include age-appropriate educational toys, materials, and games based upon the interests of the children. These include centers for books, blocks, sensory materials, art, puzzles and manipulatives, math, science, and dramatic play. Children have the opportunity to work and play in these centers individually, with a friend, or in small groups. Choosing centers provides practice in making decisions, following directions, working independently, and learning about the care and use of materials. Outside time offers opportunities for gross motor development (including climbing, running, jumping, pedaling, and building), social interactions, as well as a chance to experience weather and seasons. Children can also experiment with sand and water during these outside periods. Daily group lessons include stories, music, gross motor activities, language experiences, and discussions including questioning and research. Additional activities include cooking, growing plants, nature interactions, and having visitors share information about the unit studies. 2016 RVA 6-8 yr. old Fishing Camp - Forest Hill Park
This week with Virginia Fishing Adventures offers campers the opportunity to learn the basics of freshwater fishing, from casting, to lure and bait choices, to the best places to catch fish. We fish mostly private ponds with this younger camp to ensure success. Safety is our number one priority, so all campers will wear life jackets when in the water or on a boat.
