Kids Summer Camp week 1 - Spirit of the Horse Stables
Spring horse camps great for kids to build character and increase their knowledge of horses while having a great time and making friends. Our groups are small in order to provide more one on one teaching. All campers will enjoy learning to tack their horse, riding, grooming, bathing and caring for their horse. We will have daily arts & crafts that they can take home. Campers will also enjoy additional fun activities, and be able spend more time with the horses. All campers will have activities tailored toward their age & experiences. For girls and boys ages 5 - 18 years old. Beginner- Advanced riders welcome. SummerART Camp Pottery Morning Program 9:30am to 1:45pm Pottery Camp Session III: July 25 to August 5 Pottery Camp This camp is for children who are interested specifically in working with clay to create pottery, sculpture, and more. Campers are grouped in age-specific classes (6 to 8, and 9 to 12). Campers will have the opportunity to use the Museums diverse collection of Native American pottery as inspiration. Much of the work created in Pottery Camp will be kiln fired, some will be functional, some will be decorative, and all of it will be treasured for years to come. Much of this artwork will be displayed at the receptions in Leir Hall at the end of each session.
