A Safe and Fun Place
Nowadays you're always cautious when it comes to placing your kids in the care of other adults. Thankfully there is Bishop Stoney Camp. One visit was all it took to put my mind at ease. I knew letting our boys go there for soccer camp was a good call. The counselors took good care of them making sure they didn't get into trouble and stayed focus on having wholesome fun. Michigan Cru's Fall Getaway 2016 - Angola, IN
As we experience true love–a love that is there in the hard times as well as the good, a love that is there when we’re doing well or when we are failing, a love that will walk with us through healing as well as celebrate our victories–that is when we find true freedom. This kind of love is only found in a relationship with God through Jesus Christ. This will be a weekend of finding this kind of love as our speaker, Kevin Butcher, guides us through this topic. Join us for a weekend of fun community and spiritual growth as we head to Angola, Indiana for this year's Fall Getaway! Check is from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, October 14th. We'll have times of Biblical teaching and heartful worship, as well as plenty of time to just hang out and have fun together. And if you need to study, there is time for that too. We'll head back to campus after lunch on Sunday, October 16th. The cost is $60 for Freshmen and $80 for everyone else! Street Art/ Spray Paint Camp Kids need free time to relax and create! They will be inspired in a creative atmosphere surrounded by friends! Each week will have a specific theme. Every week will include individual projects along with group projects and a chance for everyone to explore their creative abilities!Age/Grades: This camp is for students entering 1st through 5th grade in September. Clay Camp Week 1 June 27th-July 1st 1:30pm-5pm Sculpt and create amazing art out of clay! We will explore different types of clay and create unique pieces! Calling all actors! Study improvisation, movement, vocal projection and other theatrical elements. Actors will perform for family and friends on the last day of camp. T-shirt included. AGE CATEGORY Youth (6yr+) LOCATION CRC Community Room at Community Recreation Center (CRC)
Session 1H - Voyagers - Camp Butano Creek
This is a two-session program: spend the first session experiencing intensive training activities with your peers. This session includes: discovering your leadership potential; enhancing your skills in group dynamics and communication; understanding the delivery of camp programs and operations; and traditional camp activities including a special outing. Voyagers go home on July 16th to rest up and return on either July 21st (2nd session) or August 4th (3rd session) as an Apprentice Counselor, joining our camp staff during pre-camp for final camp training and preparations. In your assigned unit, put your new knowledge and skills to work as an Apprentice Counselor. Voyager registration is not complete until the following has been completed and returned: camper registration; Voyager application and questionnaire; and three references. Final placement is subject to evaluation by Voyager staff. Spaces are LIMITED, sign up early! Preference will be given to Voyagers entering 12th grade. If there are openings after March 1, those entering 11th grade will be considered. Plus Package also includes a hooded, pullover sweatshirt and a handy postage-paid stationery/pen set for ease in writing home. 925 216-4146

We hope to provide campers with the opportunity to play various sports or sports related activities throughout the week. Earth Roots is our foundation overnight camp, designed for both new and returning campers. Get back to your roots and learn the philosophy of living close to nature, wilderness survival, and nurture your connection to the earth. We will explore the surrounding forests, swim in mountain streams, as we discover more about the magical world of nature through building natural shelters, making fires without matches, and preparing wild plants for food. 540-456-7339
