Youth Leadership Summit 2.0
Held in Ashland, Nebraska at Carol Joy Holling Camp and Retreat Center, this event will gather youth from across the ELCA for intentional leadership development and faith formation. Our guests include Presiding Bishop Eaton, Kevin Strickland, Assistant to the Presiding Bishop/Executive for Worship, Stephen Bouman, Executive Director for Congregational and Synodical Missions of the ELCA, and several other wonderful speakers and teachers. Our featured presenter is Lyle Griner who will be coaching us on Peer Ministry. Each synod will select two youth to participate and send one adult to accompany them on the journey. Registration will be covered by a special grant. Your only responsibilities will be travel and being open to what God has in store for you through this event. Registration closes on October 1, 2015.

LFG football camp is a one day instructional clinic taught by volunteer college coaches from across the country. Participants are divided into groups based on chosen offensive and defensive position, and rotate through drills, skills and technique instruction throughout the day. This camp is a creative combination of art and space. Campers will use visual arts to explore the final frontier! Two dimensional projects, such as drawing, painting, and collage, will focus on design elements such as color, line, and shape. Using clay, campers will take inspiration from textures and patterns found in space when they learn the basics of hand building techniques and out-of-this-world wheel throwing.
