(NOT for beginners, must be VERY experienced with Minecraft) For veteran gamers, this camp will explore the dynamic world of Minecraft modding and learn new strategies to assist your survival and creativity. Utilize Redstone to increase creativity, and learn file editing, cyber security, and safe internet browsing techniques. Campers will implement some of the most popular Minecraft mods including Biomes OPlenty, Decocraft, Twilight Forest, Optifine, Pixelmon, as well as mods of the campers choice! This camp will be enhanced with a special multi-player map that will pit teams against each other in a race to the end! All campers ARE REQUIRED to have a Minecraft™ account for this class. Get ready for Trinity Youth's 18th annual Middle School Winter Camp! This weekend will be filled with good food, great friends, and whole lot of fun. Our goals for this camp are: 1. To build strong student-leader relationships 2.To build strong peer relationships 3.To meet students right where they are—helping them take that next step in knowing Jesus better. Oh, and there is also possibility of having a lot of fun, too! Students and leaders will be leaving from Trinity at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, February 12th (dinner not provided). From the church, we will drive 45 minutes south to Meadowood Springs. Everyone will be staying the next two nights at the retreat center there. We will be back at Trinity by 12:00 p.m. on Sunday the 14th. The cost of camp is $105. This cost covers travel, lodging, food and fun. To secure your free Winter Camp 2016 t-shirt, get your registration and $25 non-refundable deposit by Sunday, January 17th! Musical Improv - Pop Songs Level 2 - Eric Schackne - iO West
Youre making up songs, and they sound pretty great. Everybody thinks so. Yet, youre curious how to make future songs sound pretty greater. This workshop moves past the rigid structure that got your improv songwriting on its feet, and smoothes out the edges. Week one takes you back through song structure and function in finer detail, adding some new ways to build on simplicity. The second week works on two pairs of skills – beginnings/endings & leading/following. Week three delves into the wild world of fancy tricks and slick pop moves to prep your tool belt for heaps of song types. The overall goal of the Camp is to educate and challenge players of all levels, while focusing the serious soccer player towards achieving their next level. Camp will offer both technical and tactical sessions, delivered by our nationally recognized coaching staff. Campers will be placed into age and ability specific groups as to optimize the environment for each players development. Our curriculum is designed to challenge each player through the combination of small and big-sided match play coupled with daily training sessions focused on various technical and tactical aspects. A recruiting seminar for high school campers will be offered during camp.
