2 Day Event, Come Play Under the Lights! -This is a non-contact camp, designed to put players (boys and girls, ages 5-14) through the paces of most positions, and prepare them for the upcoming season. Players will rotate from station to station as they learn valuable techniques and fundamentals from the Lakeside High School Football Coaching Staff. Flippin' Fall Fest Girls Competitive Gymnastics Camp - Fargo, ND
Flippin' Fall Fest is geared towards girl competitive gymnasts of all levels, and features small group sizes to facilitate focused, intense, and personalized training. The camp curriculum features two daily workouts totaling approximately 9 hours. The workouts are designed for systematic progression according to individual ability. Campers spend the sessions attending workouts at TNT Kid's Fitness & Gymnastics. COST: $175 - includes snack and leotard. PAYMENT: $75 deposit due when registering. Full camp payment is due October 21 at check in. REFUND POLICY: The camp fee is non- refundable after September 23, without a physician’s statement. Any refunds given with a physician's statement will be subject to a cancellation fee of $75 of the registration fee to cover expenses already incurred. Learn about the Coast Miwok, an indigenous people who thrived in the coastal landscape. Check out mysterious historical buildings and what secrets they hold. Global Scientists - Middle School
Nearly one billion people on our planet lack access to clean water. Thats one billion people who cant drink from a faucet, shower or cook a meal without risk of illness - or worse! In this course, students will collaborate with a Global Partner Student from a developing country to help quench the thirst of the world. Through video message exchanges they will learn about each other and explore how water is used in each others culture, study the chemical properties of water and the water cycle, and then use the engineering design process to build, test and tweak biodomes, water towers, and water filtration systems to better understand how water systems can be polluted and purified. As their understanding of the subject matter grows, students will work closely with their Global Partners to develop a hands-on research project that shows the water problems each of their countries face while sharing practical ways to address these problems and help bring clean water to the world! This is our History 1 week. This week we will be moving around the Bay Area taking daily field trips while using public transportation to navigate our way. The week will be comprised of the schedule below*. Day 1: Alcatraz Day 2: GG Bridge/SF Maritime Museum Day 3: Oakland Walking Tour/Oakland Museum of California Day 4: De Young Museum (may be substituted) Day 5: USS Hornet (Days may not be in the specific order above) We meet at Rockridge BART station every morning at 8 AM then travel the city to our destination or destinations. Improve your skills while having a great camp experience. We will teach the fundamental skills of basketball and provide self-help drills. Each camper will be given the tools to improve on their own. Through this quality instruction, all campers will improve and gain self-confidence in themselves. Finally, campers will be given the opportunity to meet new friends and have fun! Bring a peanut free bag lunch daily, swim gear and water bottle. Group will swim at Reynolds Pool during the last hour of camp. Girls Rock SB! is an after-school music program and summer camp for girls aged 7-17. Girls learn either guitar, bass, drums, keys, vocals, and introducing: electric violin! They form bands, write songs together, and perform them at a local venue. They also get to experience a great selection of workshops, which include the following: Songwriting, DJing, Hip Hop Dance, Screenprinting (making their own band t-shirts), Zine-Making, Yoga, Recording/Engineering, and Martial Arts Girls Rock Santa Barbara! is an organization that empowers girls through music. Through music lessons, creative expression, workshops, group activities, and performance, girls learn self-confidence and teamwork. GRSB challenges gender stereotypes, encourages collaboration and tolerance among peers, and provides a safe and comfortable space for girls of all backgrounds to express themselves.
