Individual Camp - Coors Event Center
In our Individual Camp, campers will be taught the fundamentals of basketball through games, competitions, and drills. We have assembled a camp staff of the finest coaches from around the country to provide the best basketball learning experience possible. League play will take place daily, giving campers the opportunity to apply what they learn in clinics and lectures while improving their overall skill and basketball knowledge. Lunch will be provided. Young Physician - Goleta Presbyterian Church
Make NO bones about it; this camp is for the aspiring "Young Physician". If your child enjoys checking out the cool gadgets and models in the Pediatricians office, sign them up! Campers learn that their bodies are miles of blood vessels, hundreds of muscles, many thousands of hairs, a furnace, a filter, AND a fancy computer! They perform hands-on experiments as they learn about brains, taste buds, blood, muscles and bones, check heart rates and listen to their lungs with their very own stethoscope. Campers will extract DNA and learn about genetics, test for germs, build spinal column, ear drum and lung models. Survival of the fittest! Come explore how plants and insects survive in a world dominated by humans. Bring an observant eye and ear as we investigate unique interactions between living organisms. Dissect a grasshopper and flower, test how ants respond to stimuli, create an insect soundscape, and more! The hands-on explorations, inquiry-based activities, and modeling will leave students buzzing with excitement! Please note that this program is an updated version of Insectology from last summer.
