Cardinal Mens Basketball Day Camp Week 2 2015 - UIW Richard and Janet Cervera Wellness Center
The Cardinals Camp works to improve skills through individual instruction, drills, lectures and games. We feel the staff-camper ratio is very important and maintain a ratio of one coach for each 10 campers. Camp staff will instruct campers on the fundamentals of passing, dribbling and shooting as well as both individual and team offensive and defensive strategies. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Camp Dates: * Week 1 - June 6th - 10th (Friday is a half day) 9:00 am - 4:00 pm $185.00 Full Day Camp $155.00 Half Day Camp * Week 2 - June 27th - July 1st (Friday is a half day) 9:00 am - 4:00 pm $185.00 Full Day Camp $155.00 Half Day Camp -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Registration, Walk-ins, Drop-Off and Pick Up will be held at the UIW Convocation Center. Everybody was Kung Fu Fighting! Well, all of the cats and dogs are in this action-packed slapstick comedy. Join the Chapel School Explorer Program Dramateers as we explore theatre and prepare this One Act Play "Kung Fu Kitty." It is a story about standing up for what you believe in and overcoming adversity. This is sure to be a week filled with laughter, learning, and more laughter! Campers will learn the basics of theatre and present a play at the end of the week. (2016 AKA SOP SCHEDULE BELOW) AKASPORTs Speed of Play: Leadership through Fitness Program, is led by AKA Director, Chris Schulz and the AKA professional training Staff. Participants enrolled in the AKA Speed of Play (SOP program), in partnership with the AKA All Sports Camp (ages 6-12), will offer adolescents an opportunity to be active, train and play in an All Sports setting geared to teach them leadership qualities with personal mentorship opportunities. The base of the Speed of Play program is from 9:00am-4:00pm and the doors are open for all Speed of Play participants from 7:00am-6:00pm, the same hours of the AKA All Sports Camp so you can take advantage of supervised activity time the entire day.
