These plans focus on everything from weather and health issues to missing camper or medical emergencies. Use the Rube Goldberg philosophy to plan, create, and build new contraptions in the outdoors. Experiment with the Rube Goldberg design process, create a new feeding method for the aquarium animals, make a safe animal catching device, and create your own apparatus that can function in the outdoors. Spanish Immersion Camp: Wild and Wacky STEAM (Half Day) - Avenues New York
The half-day language immersion camp for nursery is a perfect introduction to Avenues unique teaching style, paired with the fun of summer. It will accommodate all levels of knowledge and experience in the target languages, serving as a bridge for incoming Avenues students and a learning opportunity for families who have been curious about immersion study. All families are invited to join our workshare on the last day of each session, which will showcase how much campers have accomplished and what a strong community they have built! Children must be fully toilet-trained and must have experienced separation prior to the start of camp. This activity may not be registered for individually because it is part of a package.A local favorite for many years, Seaside Day Camp is held at the newly renovated Scout House at Glen Park, Cardiff ?by-the Sea. Have your child experience the local wonder of the great outdoors through Encinitas parks, trails, ocean and wild life. Our caring and experienced camp staff share the goal of providing a fun and safe environment that helps nurture the social, physical, educational and emotional wellbeing of each child. Campers will enjoy a healthy daily snack and a weekly field trip in addition to all the fun activities that are offered throughout the week. Please join us this summer there are several great memories just waiting to be made at Seaside Day Camp! Seaside Day Camp hours of operation are 9 am ? 3 pm.
