This course will sharpen students thinking skills, speaking and debate skills, and will give students an insight into the U.S. legal system. Well be using realistic and engaging case material prepared by the Classroom Law Project to prepare for and stage a trial during the first four days of camp. Rogue Robots: LEGO Robotics Camp - San Angelo, TX
Robots aren’t just inventions in a galaxy far, far away— they exist here on Earth, at your local library! Join us this Winter Break for a Star Wars-themed robotics camp. Each day we’ll watch a clip from the movies, and build a LEGO robot inspired by the film. The library will be hosting two four-day camps—attending all four days is not mandatory, but each class will build upon the previous classes. No prior experience in LEGO robotics necessary, but seating is limited so RSVP is required. Apply for scholarship to attend a summer program. Scholarship applicants are required to provide additional forms: 1) Proof of Eligibility for Free/Reduced Lunch Program 2) A Student Essay (To be Completed by your child/ward) 3) A Teacher Recommendation (To be completed by your childs teacher and submitted to IMSA) If you are awarded a scholarship, you will be notified by email. Positional Camp II - Hearnes Center
Features concentrated instruction for the athlete (grade 6-12) who wishes to focus on a designed poition (setter, outside hitter, middle blocker, or libero/defensive specialist). Campers will spend the majority of their time drilling on those skills unique to their chosen position. Teen Camp 9-4pm wk 3 - Frankfort Park District
The Frankfort Park District would like to present Teen Adventures Summer Day Camp program for youth entering 7th ? 9th grade in the fall. This full day camp will provide plenty of outdoor activities, water days, arts & crafts, and a field trip each week that a teen will enjoy. Special guests will be invited to this camp including sports, art and science instructors. Teen Adventures Summer Day Camp will be held at Commissioners Park, located at 22108 S. 80th Avenue in Frankfort, along with the use of Chelsea Middle School, which is located next to Commissioners Park. Drop off and pick up will take place at Chelsea Middle School, located at 22265S. 80th Ave. The camp will run from 9 ? 4pm, Monday thru Friday, with a before and after care option. Bring a bag pack, lunch and water bottle each day. Lunch may be included on certain field trip days. Registration must be done in person at our main office located at the Founders Community Center, 140 Oak Street. A copy of your child?s birth certificate will be required at the time of registration.
