Four of Shakespeares plays will be studied over the course of 8 weeks; Midsummer Nights Dream, Julius Caesar, Richard the Third, Romeo and Juliet and The Tempest. Each week scenes will be analyzed rehearsed and the next week performed. Outside rehearsal will be a necessity for this class. The more time you put in the greater the reward! Mini-Summer Day Camp - Gallatin, TN
Sumner Teen Center extends our hours to 7:30am-6pm for TWO DAYS ONLY for this special VBS inspired camp. There will be lots and lots of group games indoors and out. We will have planned crafts, as well as music and discussion times. Please bring a sack lunch. We will have snacks and water. Pre-register at ticket link on this event. We are so proud to announce that 4RKids Capital Campaign will be hosting the Turkey Trot 5k & fun run on Thanksgiving Day! Route will be through Heritage Hills and Willow West. The Middle School String Orchestra Camp is open to entering grades 7, 8 or 9. The two orchestras are conducted by exemplary specialists in middle school orchestral music. AKA Diamond Sports week features daily instruction, plenty of hitting and fielding, games, including our coveted World Series Event, as well as a trip to see the Twins! Our staff is made of several high school and college baseball and softball players who are great at teaching their sport and who make Diamond Sports Week extremely fun. Featured Fieldtrip - Thursday, June 23 - Minnesota Twins vs. Philadelphia Phillies (first pitch 12:05pm) FYI - The actual day camp runs from 9am-4pm though kids are welcome to get dropped off as early as 7am and picked up as late as 6pm. Woodshop Wizards Wood Working Camp - San Marcos Community Center
Campers will learn hands on techniques that enable them to build their very own wood bi-plane, racecar, and complete train with an engine, caboose, and cars! All projects will be painted, personalized and taken home to treasure. Students use only safe, age appropriate hand tools. A prorated refund of fees, less a $10 cancellation fee, will be granted if the request is made before the second camp day. Students who transfer from one camp to another will be charged a $10 transfer fee.
