Interested in letting your creativity run wild on stage? Then choose Improv this summer! Improvisational theatre (Improv) is any unscripted theatrical performance. Completely spontaneous and absolutely wild, improv develops stage presence and interpersonal skills! Each day will be filled with fun stage games and activities including scenarios made popular by the TV show Whose Line is it Anyway? and many more. I love this camp for my kids because they were able to go and have a great time while staying safe, but the best part is that they get to come home at night and tell us all about their adventurous day. I love hearing about the laughs and the good times and hearing how awesome the staff is. We really couldn't ask for a better day camp for our kids. Week 3: Forensics - The MacDuffie School
Forensic science draws from foundations in biology, chemistry and physics. Campers will learn how to solve crimes by recognizing, collecting, and analyzing physical evidence commonly found at crime scenes. From fingerprinting to blood-typing, campers will learn practical skills and achieve a greater understanding of the role physical evidence plays in court proceedings. Pop into Art - Old Trail School
Have you ever wanted to Splatter Paint? If, so this class is for you. This week will include outrageous and spectacular projects that allow you to be creative and explore the unordinary. Campers will get to splatter paint, create shaving cream art, explore Pop art through Photography and more. But OH, Wait! Thats not all! We will end the week with squirt gun painting! Afternoon: Pirates with a Purpose Robotics have taken over the Pirate world. Well-seasoned students and crew design robots ready for adventures and excitement. The life of the pirate is searching for hidden treasure, protecting your gold and stealing others prized possessions. Can your pirate crew steal the other crews treasure and return it to your cove? Maneuverable robots will be tested as they race against the clock and other pirates. Variations of Capture the Flag, Race Against Time, Obstacle/Maneuverability Courses all out Pirate Wars will be held with a robotic spin. Come for the treasure… Stay to watch losing pirates walk the plank. Note: Even though between some weekly sessions there might appear the same program names, in our actual education program, we will have different depth of technology and engineering principles to be applied by our children under our inspirational guidance...
