Ever wish your kids would do more with the computer than sit and play video games? Specially designed software is used so campers can easily create multimedia computer games and animations.Developing a script or program is done by simply snapping together graphical program blocks much like LEGO bricks or puzzle pieces. Participants will learn how to create computer games with custom background settings, characters, animated movements, sound effects and more. If you are new to our Computer Game Design course, you will get started quickly and if you have previously attended a course, a new game will be introduced so you will get to learn new techniques.Students will receive a USB drive with the software and games they made to take home at the conclusion of camp. This is the third year that our girl has spent the full two weeks at Piomingo. The big difference is that this year she is going back as a counselor in training. We're very excited that she was given the opportunity to step up in a leadership position. Summer Camp Reunion Weekend - Paige, TX
We just love seeing our campers and their families return to the village in February and March to enjoy Sherwood Forest Faire, and obviously a great part of that is when campers encounter each other! This year, for the first time, we would like to have an official "Reunion" for our Youth Campers and Adult Campers alike to help facilitate that. Both events (which will be separate, because we don't want the Adult Campers teaching the younger ones bad habits) will take place during weekend #2, Feb 20-21. Mark your calendar! Firefighter Youth Camp - Limerick, PA
Limerick Fire Company's 4th Annual YOUTH FIREFIGHTER CAMP June 19-23, 2017; 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Ages 6-13 years of age Why try this Camp? You will: ►Learn fire safety you thought you knew & then apply what you’ve learned ►Learn about the fire house, trucks (apparatus), and personnel ►Hands-on with various equipment ►Ladders-learn the how-to’s ►Hoses-proper techniques to connect to the hydrant, flow water, roll up, etc. ►Extinguishers-the ABC’s ►Rescue tools during simulated live demonstrations ►Fire gear-bunker pants, jacket, helmet, safety gloves & glasses all provided ►Watch & participate in several live demonstrations with the firefighters ►And so much more…. If youre a sports fanatic, dont miss this camp! Spend the week learning about and participating in your favorite athletics. Work on sportsmanship and teamwork as we strengthen our gross and fine motor skills. *This class is designed to help with kindergarten readiness. These themed camps offer a fun, engaging learning environment as we work toward kindergarten readiness through different weekly topics. *3, 4, and 5 year olds are encouraged to join our morning preschool camps, where we work on a variety of social and academic skills. *Please note: Students who are registered for a morning and afternoon camp within the same week are invited to stay for FREE supervised lunch and recess between 11:30 am-12:30 pm. Students should bring a sack lunch that does not require heating or cooling. Please note that lunch is not provided and students must be registered for both a morning and afternoon camp. 319-294-2036

The first three weeks will be on the field: technical training, small sided games, going to Goal, as well as finishing and fitness. The last three weeks will be spent in the weight room. An individual camp designed to take your game to the next level! This camp is designed to motivate a committed player and give them the tools and foundation to dramatically improve their game! We recommend this camp for girls that have at least 2+ years of playing experience. All basketball activities will take place in the Stegeman Coliseum Practice Facility that our current players use on a daily basis! This years camp experience will include an All-Star Team and coaches evaluations to take home so that you can continue to work on your game to become a future Lady Dog! 706-542-1176
