If there is one thing you need to know about our boy and water is that you can't get him out of it... especially when he's got a inner tube to float in. I thought he might take up archery because of how many times he watched "Hunger Games!" LOL! But instead this year was his first time at fly-fishing and I'm afraid the camp made him a total convert. We are going around the world with this multi faceted day camp for kids! We will explore the art, language and culture of several different countries, including Brazil, Morocco and Japan. A variety of activities will fill our time together - art, sports, music and more! Campers will create and fill in their "passports" as we visit a new country each day. Kids from 8-13 are invited to join us for this 4 day camp, running Monday, August 15 - Thursday, August 18 from 9 am to 12:30 pm each day. Cost of camp is $120. Instruction to aid children in becoming comfortable in the water. Skills taught through games, song and fun include rhythmic breathing, prone float and glide, back float and glide, flutter kick, turning over, changing direction and basic safety principles.
