Teen Cooking Camp: Session 3 - Rochester, MN
Your West Circle Drive Hy-Vee is offering a series of cooking classes designed to teach teens (age 12-17) essential cooking skills! Each class will feature a different theme. Teens will be able to eat their creations at the end of the class. Rugrats Soccer Club is brought to you by Valor Sports LLC. Rugrats is a parent and child program, "Members Only" club, designed specifically for children ages 18 months to 3.5 years old. Participation in Rugrats is limited to members of Valor Sports only. Rugrats Soccer was designed by a school teacher specializing in early childhood education, and a soccer coach with 25 years of coaching experience. The program is designed to focus on the development of your childs socialization and cooperation skills, and help develop coordination, endurance, and balance. Ceramics 5 - Funky and Functional - Artists Exchange
Not everything functional has to be boring, right? A plate is a plate and a bowl is a bowl but in this week of camp, campers will learn to make functional things extraordinary! Roll, flatten, pinch, cut, and bend. Use traditional hand building techniques to make pottery that is funky functional and fantastic. Ceramics camps allow children to immerse themselves in clay studio studies ranging from basic hand building, wheel throwing, and sculpting. Campers will learn a variety of skills designed to fit the camp they are in. Ceramic focus campers will learn the technical aspects of recycling, slab work, build a simple kiln from a metal trash can and firing pottery in it. All under the guidance of a professional potter and the fire department. Clay adventures offers a beginners taste of experimenting with clay. 3D Printing and Modeling - Building A
In this camp from Youth Digital, campers learn key modeling concepts as they design their 3D model in preparation for real 3D printing. At the end of camp, kids will walk away with a completed 3D model that is ready for 3D printing! Theyll also be able to access the online version of the course after camp, including video tutorials, interactive quizzes, and new challenges. Campers will learn the basics of 3D modeling as they prepare to have their creations printed using groundbreaking 3D printing technology. During camp, kids master 3D modeling and design skills including how to sculpt, texture, arrange, and render their 3D creation in preparation for 3D printing.
