As a certified educator working in the public schools I can attest that Camp Birch Hill is an excellent opportunity for students to increase their social skills, learn how to collaborate, and most importantly, have FUN! Youth Football Summer Camp - Randolph, NJ
This will be a fundamental camp with position specific drills as well. Athletes will have an opportunity to learn one position or multiple positions. We will teach basic tackling, blocking and ball handling techniques at the start of the clinic. Remember college and pro atheltes practice fundamentals every day! We will also teach some basic speed and agility drills. All form tackling will be done on practice dummies. There is no live tackling of other players and no equipment is needed. Our staff will consist of college coaches and current or former college players. Do not be fooled the staff is the best in the youth coaching business! The coaches will be teaching the most up to date football techniques out there. We hope to have the former NFL players back this year!!!

Let nature inspire creativity! Each day, campers will use different media to express artistic natural themes. Different tools and techniques will be used throughout the week to create unique and original masterpieces. A variety of nature topics will be covered to add to the learning element. Items can include - soda can, soda / water bottles, newspaper, milk cartons, etc. Field Trip - Griffith Observatory - Wednesday 3/30 Campers must bring a sack lunch daily, and are required to wear a camp t-shirt daily. This course is taught by veteran Head-Royce Math Teacher Chris Davies A U.C. Certified equivalent of academic year Algebra II taught in an intensive six-week format. Top-performing Head-Royce students may use the course to accelerate into Pre-calculus pending departmental approval. Other purposes for taking this course include reviewing and previewing Algebra II as needed. (As with all summer for-credit courses, students may choose to audit this course or proceed on a for-credit basis.) Textbooks will be loaned to the students, but students must provide their own graphing calculator (Head-Royce uses the TI84 or TI83). Prerequisite: Algebra 1 and Geometry, minimum C grade. Dynamite (USASF Levels 2) is one of our beginner teams. Developed as a junior novice/intermediate team, these athletes are 14 years and younger. Skills required include but are not limited to standing back handsprings, working multiples and round off backhandsprings.
