Spend your summer vacation with us! Sam Michaels Day Camp offers 1 field trip per week, water day of Friday w/ inflatable water slide and weekly themed crafts and activities. T-shirt is included in camp price. Camp hours are 7:30am-5:30pm. Cost for camp is $125 per week (4th of July week is $100).Full payment is due at time of registration. Parent or guardian MUST complete a camp registration form as well a health form for each child they are registering. STATE LICENSING DISCLAIMER: Due to state law regulations we are required to limit the number of days a child is allowed to attend summer day camps, or any camp lasting more than 6 hours. Children may only attend these camps for 30 days during the summer (consecutive or non-consecutive). ADDITIONAL CAMP INFORMATION: Lunch: Campers will need to bring their own lunch and beverage to camp every day. Refrigeration is not available. Small coolers or ice packs are recommended. Dress: Children are encouraged to dress comfortably in shorts and t-shirt/camp shirt. Closed toe shoes are highly recommended. Camp T-shirts are required to be worn on field trips days. The Phone Bank will air live from Fox 61 and WCCT (CW) on Wednesday, June 15, 2016 beginning from 9a.m. to 10a.m. and then returning from 4p.m. to 7p.m. Your support of this campaign will help Hartford’s Camp Courant and Fox 61 further their missions to support education-based programs for children throughout the greater Hartford community. Our goal is to raise $100,000 during the live four-hour televised fundraiser, which will help to enhance the summer experience for nearly 1,000 Hartford children this year. We have a long standing, aligned and focused partnership with Fox 61 who is dedicated to making a positive difference. Everything they do in the community will link directly to their mission of HOPE (Helping Organizations Promote Education) where they will focus their resources to maximize impact. Join us on Saturday, May 21 for our annual Kid’s Fishing Day at Camp Grace, sponsored by Team Jesus Ministries, led by Terry Chupp here in Mobile. All fishing equipment will be furnished and the first 300 kids will receive a free rod and reel. The event will feature air-ups, face painting and plenty of fun for the whole family. Ages 8-12. Ever wonder what it was like to travel back in time and live like Laura Ingalls Wilder and her family in the “Little House� books? In this camp we will explore crafts, chores, games and readings from each of the eight books in the series †from “Little House in the Big Woods� and “Farmer Boy� to “The Long Winter� and “These Happy Golden Years.� We’ll spend most of our time outdoors; please wear sunscreen and dress for the weather. This camp is aimed at the more experienced player looking to improve on his/her skills. This camp will be instructed by Traips Varsity boys coach Jeremy Paul, and varsity girls coach Scott Blake. Those who attend will enjoy learning the fundamentals of shooting, ball handling, rebounding, passing, defense, and team play. In addition you will have some fun and challenging competitions, a basketball camp t-shirt, a continuing basketball workout schedule for when the camp is over, and excitement. Please bring a lunch each day. The price of this camp is $130 for the first child and $200 for a family, and includes a T-shirt. This camp takes place at the Kittery Community Center.
