The week before our son was getting ready for the camp he was planning out all the things he wanted to do. Top of the list were the rifle shooting and archery. Of course, he got to try a little bit of everything. Now when I ask what his favorite thing to do at Camp Bear Track was he changes every five minutes! He even seems to like golf! Come join other young quilters and make some new friends. Participants will complete a quilt top in this one day class using a simple pattern. Age 10 and up and must own and know how to operate their own sewing machine. Registration fee is $60 (includes fabric and pattern).
Father Kid Campout 2016 - Kennett Square, PA

Teen Belly Dance Camp 2016 with Sadie! - Albuquerque, NM
:::Teen Belly Dance Camp 2016::: REGISTRATION OPENS APRIL 1st on SirenaStudio.com Limited to 12 Participants Teen Belly Dance Camp is a week long intensive for young women ages 13-18. Throughout the week, we will learn about the history of belly dance, do exercises to inspire creativity and self-expression, and of course...dance! Different styles of belly dance will be introduced through hours of drills and practice, forming into a choreography that participants will have the opportunity to perform at the end of the week in a safe and supportive environment (performance optional). We will also study Middle Eastern music and become acquainted with the rhythms that are so fun to dance to! Not only is belly dance a GREAT form of exercise, it is also a great way to make friends and become part of a community. It promotes self-confidence and a higher awareness of your body since we will be working muscle groups you didn't know you have or don't actively use. We will have guest instructors and speakers dropping in throughout the week to cover as many topics as possible! Activities will be designed around the interests of the learners but may include the building of rockets, hot air balloons, mouse-trap cars, catapults, solar vehicles, racetracks, architectural structures, adobe block houses, skyscrapers and more.
