Travel through space and time as we create Out of this World works of Art! We will blast off with famous artist, Peter Max, and learn about perspective and using watercolors. Inventor and artist Leonardo da Vinci will inspire us to draw futuristic robots. Next, we will create radial moons and suns using printmaking techniques while being inspired by artists utilizing radial symmetry and explore shading and value with planets and stars with chalk! Imagine yourself as an astronaut, floating at zero gravity, when we draw self-portraits. Join us this winter to expand your artistic skills as we journey through space and time! This was the first summer my boy went to Camp Skyline and I can promise you it won't be his last! He made some great friends that he's still chatting with on Facebook. And now he wants his own horse. Claws and Paws - $170 (July 11 – July 15) A camp designed for animal lovers…but really, who doesnt love animals?! Get ready to investigate different animals, some of their special adaptations, and the care necessary to keep them healthy. Highlights include a field trip to the Lehigh Valley Zoo and a visit from The Wildlands Conservancy with some exotic animals. Dunham Woods Farm is a top-notch equestrian facility dedicated to providing the best instruction available for over 50 years. Our teachings are based on tradition and looking to the future. You?ll learn all about the proper ways to groom, tack and handle horses. In the saddle you will learn the basics of riding at the walk and trot. You?ll learn tons of cool information about breeds, colors, markings of horses and more! Games and other activities will be included as well. Riders should wear jeans or Jodhpur pants and hard soled riding or hiking boots with a small, low heel. Bring an approved riding helmet or bicycle helmet and a sack lunch! SPRING 2016: SURVIVOR FROG! Have you ever wondered how to make fire without matches, purify water, and build your own shelter? Or what you would do if you were stranded on a desert island? If so, then join Survivor Frog! We will learn to recognize and prepare edible plants, track and stalk wild animals, and make rope and baskets out of plants that grow in your neighborhood park. Our amazing Animal Ambassadors will be our guides as we gain survival skills, learn to work as a team, and explore the natural world all around us! There are no breaks during this session.
