Take Level 1 in one week! Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday Week 2: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday In this class you are introduced to all the fundamental skills of improvising, while improving your ability to listen and explore the power of building off of other peoples ideas. Level 1 is a survey of the entire program, exposing you to the elements of scene work and the various skills involved in creating well-acted, comedic improvisation. Passing Criteria: Students must demonstrate that their listening has improved over the course of the term and that they are willing to build off of their partners ideas, in addition to having gained some proficiency with the technical aspects of actually doing so on stage. Exclusive for Non-Profit Youth Groups! Registration limited to first 30 youth Become a GC wildlife detective while on school vacation! Come to Gardner Camp for hands-on learning about wildlife and animals of all kinds. Nationally renowned World Bird Sanctuary will be at GC to present a live animal program where you will experience an up-close view of animals from all kingdoms. After learning about the different types of animals and the signs that animals leave behind, participants will test their investigation skills solving a mystery and go on a tracking adventure, weather permitting. Participants will also walk away with their very own handmade wildlife tracks t-shirt. Within this program, there is also a giveback opportunity to help World Bird Sanctuary. In a fun, supportive, and inclusive environment, campers will learn all components of football including dynamic stretches, offense, defense, and special teams. Campers will learn the fundamentals of throwing, catching, running, kicking, and punting, as well as speedwork and coordination (attributes that transfer to all sports). All campers will participate in lead-up games, positional and individual work, and team games, concluding with 7 on 7 games. The camp is designed to improve a child?s skill, regardless of skill level. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This program is designed for participants in 6th-8th grade.
