This is our HALF DAY option for Young Paleontologist. Camp Young Paleontologist will get your child excited about dinosaurs, fossils, and more! Activities and experiments explore the prehistoric era. During each activity branches of science and noteworthy scientists are introduced. (If your child has any food allergies, please make sure to include that on your online registration form). These exciting experiments are sure to delight and spark the science minds of our youngest little campers, ages 4 and 5. Sample Projects: Fossil rubbings, Dino dig!, Edible volcano, Crystal growing trees, Eruptions, and more! Our pre-k half day camps are 9am-1pm with pre camp options available as well! Please pack a peanut-free snack, bag lunch and refreshment for your child. Each camper receives one free camp t-shirt with each week of registration - order as many extras as you want at checkout! Spring Break Youth Art Camp - Hartselle, AL
We are excited to announce we will be having our first ever Youth Art Camp!! This will be a 3 day camp for 2 hours a day from 10am -12pm. Each day your child will learn a different form of art and create their own masterpiece to bring home. We will also provide a light snack each day. This will be a great learning opportunity for each child with a creative mind. I will have limited spaces. The fee for this camp is $60 a child for all 3 days. If you think you would be interested in signing up your child you may call the store @ 256-754-5018 and place a $20 non refundable deposit to hold your childs spot. The remaining balance will be due on march 21st. This camp will be offered to any school aged child. If there are any questions please feel free to call or message me.

Mariapoch Teen Campout - Burton, OH
Teens ages 13-18--join us for a weekend of prayer and fun during the 60th annual pilgrimage to the Shrine of Our Lady of Mariapoch in Burton, Ohio, Aug. 13-14, 2016. Make Your Own Comic Book - The Evergreen School
Students will draw their own comic book while learning storyboarding, basic character drawing, and 3D drawing. There will be opportunities to read comic books and to use how-to-draw guides in Manga, Anime, and various other styles. On the last day everyone will take home the comic book they created. This class is led in a supportive and creative atmosphere by Lukas Allenbaugh, who has over 20 years of experience teaching various styles of art to children. 206-957-1533

POTTERY ON THE WHEEL - Walker-MacKenzie Studio - Gertrude Herbert
Instructor: Twila Brock Beginning and advanced beginner students will have the opportunity to continue developing their skills in the various approaches to throwing functional ware on the wheel under the guidance of Twila Brock who specializes in this area. Instruction will be focused on basic techniques. Forms will be thrown, altered, and assembled to create various vessels. Projects will be tailored to the students skill level. Glazing techniques will also be addressed. Students must provide a clean towel each week. SoccerTots Camp is a child development program that uses a variety of fun games to engage kids in physical activity.
