3-year olds (who are toilet trained) to children entering Kindergarten may enroll for 5, 3 OR 2 half days of preschool. A small class size of 8 students to 1 early childhood certified teacher enhances learning. The groundwork for early language, math and science skills is formed utilizing multi-sensory, child-centered activities. A unique phonics-based teaching system brings the alphabet to life, as it lays the foundation for reading. Each session is 4 weeks long - 5 day option: Monday-Friday - 3 day option: Monday, Wednesday, Friday - 2 day option: Tuesday, Thursday *Please consider sending your 4 or 5 year olds to our PreK kindergarten readiness Camps (see "2016 Summer Themed Camps" and look for PreK camps). These afternoon sessions are an opportunity for your 4 or 5 year old to prepare for a full day of school. These PreK themed camps offer a fun, engaging learning environment as we work on kindergarten readiness through different weekly themes. *Please note: Students age 4 and up who are registered for a morning and afternoon camp within the same week are invited to stay for FREE supervised lunch and recess between 11:30 am-12:30 pm. I used to go to this camp as a kid and now that I have my own daughter, I sent here to this camp as well. My sister, whom also attending this camp as a kid, pulled her kids out of this camp last year, stating that there was a lot of bullying and picking on kids and no accountability for this type of behavior. Kids day camp for the week of Aug 22nd through Aug. 26th Ages 7 through 12 - or first grade and up. Camp runs Monday through Thursday- 9:30am to 3:30pm Children should pack a lunch or bring money to buy food at the Subway in our parking lot. Before and after care are available for an additional fee - see below. Camp must be pre-registered. Our program is focused on teaching historical arts connected to the martial culture of Europe in the time of the crusades and beyond to the 16th century. We teach history and real world skills related to the time and culture of Knighthood. This this course we will focus on the Battle of Agincourt.... a decisive time in history. The invasion took a muster of troops... a ship voyage... and then an overland campaign. This past year saw the Anniversary celebration of the Battle at European battle sites and museums.
