Youll dive so deep into storytelling that it will make your head spin as you work with an award-winning filmmaker, writer of comic books, animations, and screenplays; teacher at film schools, universities, and PIXAR Animation Studio. This summer is the inaugural series of Summer Camps to serve the homeless youth of Clark County and North County! We plan to serve over 250 youth. We have invited Second Step Housing, Aspire and EVERY shelter in the area. This will be a FREE CAMP for them! WE CAN NOT DO THIS ALONE! We need as much help as we can get with fundraising! The vision is that every child leaves Camp inspired to DREAM BIG despite of their present circumstances. We want every child to also be able to leave with a NEW back pack full of supplies, and at least $100 gift card to be able to buy a new school out fit and a new pair of shoes too! Martin County Future Stars Camp - Don Law Golf Academy at Martin County
Future Stars Camp Future Stars Camp is a fun introduction to golf fundamentals such as stance, gripping, putting, chipping, pitching and full swing. They will also learn basic golf safety, rules, and etiquette -- all while having fun! The instruction will include game-based teaching methods to reinforce the fun side of golf. For kids who want to try golf but dont want to spend all day at it, this great combo camp will keep them happy and active all day! With the help of a Montgomery County Golf Academy instructor, all campers will practice putting, chipping, driving, and using irons and woods at the Driving Range (M-Th, 9am-Noon). On Friday, everyone will play 9 holes of golf at a nearby course, then full-day campers will head back for a final fun group activity. Afternoons for full-day campers will be filled with so much more: tennis, basketball, kick ball, mini-golf and water fun at SG Splash Playground. Dont want so much more? Sign up for half-day camp and concentrate on golf! Fee covers instruction, tees, Nike Golf® balls, and transportation Friday. Full-day campers will also receive a Nike Golf® hat and Papa Johns Pizza for lunch on Friday. Well provide clubs to kids who dont have them.
