A dynamic week of physical and spiritual fun for teen boys and girls ages 13 to 16. Campers are challenged to work together as teams in a week of diverse competitions, as well as outdoor rappelling, rock climbing and ropes courses. Chapel messages challenge teens to identify their beliefs and share their faith with their peers.

The Theme this year is: LIFE IS MESSY! Registration for this COST FREE week of teen camp begins at 4:30 on Tuesday, July 5th. Activities for Middle School could include (but is not limited to) Boogie Bowling (with strobe lights), laser tag, basketball, carpet ball, ping pong, volleyball, bike riding (Middle School week, helmet required), waterpark, putt putting, water slide, water balloons, swimming, paddle boat riding, playing on playground equipment, softball, hiking, sharing bathroom & shower facilities with other campers, sleeping on floors in rooms at the Church building, worship and recreation,and traveling to activities. Kids will learn to make delicious appetizers, amazing salads, mouth-watering sauces, yummy breakfast dishes and favorites such as pasta, vegetables, rice, potatoes, fish, meats, and soups. Yes, there will be desserts, too! Each class is three hours of hands-on cooking! During the last half hour everyone sits down to enjoy the food hat they’ve made. Investigate concepts such as supply, demand, scarcity and opportunity cost. Students will learn through interactive games and test their trading acumen by playing simulated rounds on the U.S. stock market using real stocks (but fake money!). This class will explore cubist artist such as Picasso and Braque. Students will create their very own cubist work of art in clay while learning basic techniques of using slabs to create 3/D form. Students will learn basic and intermediate techniques of slab application, handbuilding, texture application, and glass fusion into clay.
