Let colors and shapes drive the art-making process while exploring a variety of media! Campers will get inspiration from Picasso and Jackson Pollock as they paint and draw their own creative masterpieces. All materials are provided for youth & teen classes. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- To receive member pricing, please purchase a membership by visiting [] activecommunities.com/indianapolisartcenter/Membership [] An information packet including a welcome letter and class syllabus will be emailed to parents one week prior to the first day of camp. Multiple Camp/Teen Intensive Discount: Sign-up in person or by phone for two camps and get 10% off the lower-priced camp! (Does not apply to Creative Aftercare.) Members of the Indianapolis Art Center will still receive a 15% discount on all camps. Prorating/Partial Registrations: If a child is not available for the entire week of camp, we highly recommend that the parent choose a different week. Our programs are designed to be a full week-long learning experience and projects are not designed to be completed on a day by day basis. We do not prorate camps. Our experience with Camp Twin Creeks in Marlinton was awesome. When we got there to drop off the kids, we realized that the staff was so diverse in their nationalities that my kids would feel so welcome and fit right in. The staff seemed to be having as good of a time as the kids and my kids walked away with many new friendships. They are already talking about next summer and seeing their friends again. Over two and half days we will bring together some of the leading experts in youth and young adult ministry to give you inspiration and practical tools to transform your ministry to this emerging generation. The conference will center on four foundational practices of ministry: Lead, Learn, Listen and Love. For those who are unable to attend the entire conference, a Sunday-only option is available. This day will focus on practical tools for the local church leader. This is a TENTATIVE event page to see who would be interested in heading to Goddard Youth Camp for a weekend in June 2016. Please invite everyone that you know who has attended "Camp Goddard" through South MacArthur Church of Christ to like this event and the Facebook page. This Reunion will be open to all ages and families are encouraged to come together! There is enough cabin space for 210 people. Cabin spaces will be available in groups of 10 on a first come, first served basis. Restrictions: Older couples or those with major medical issues will be given cabin preference if they would prefer not to sleep in tents/RV's. Camping with tents/RV's will be a slightly cheaper option than cabins because we may be expecting more than 210 people. Future Stars Holiday Tennis Camps develop players motor skills and fundamentals, from all strokes and footwork to scoring and sportsmanship. They include drills, games, and other fun activities for the students throughout each day. Juniors learn all facets of the game in a fun and enjoyable atmosphere. The Princeton University Middle School Girls Ice Hockey Camp is designed for players (entering grades 6-8) whose aspiration is to get better by working on team and individual skills. This camp is both challenging and fun. Ice sessions will focus on the fundamentals of skill development and power-skating. Players will learn proper body position, edge control, and how to lengthen their stride. Puck protection, passing and scoring will be skills taught. In addition, players will learn all aspects of team play. Games will be played at night. In addition, players will workout with the Princeton University Strength and Conditioning Coach. June 20th-June 24th 9am-4pm August 15th-August 19th 9am-4pm Mondays – Great Outdoors Tuesdays – Yick, Yack, Yuck Wednesdays – Marine Biology Sea Camp Thursdays – Mummy Madness Friday Field trip: Sandy Point State Park – We will head to the shores of the Chesapeake for some seining, Beach exploring, hiking and games. We offer a picnic lunch for $5/campers which includes hot dog, chips, soda and watermelon. Price: $75 per day or weekly rate: $325 includes Sandy Point Field Trip and bus (410) 279-5416

The San Jose Museum of Art, full-day art camps offer in-depth art experiences for South Bay youth. Our campers gain access to the Museums galleries outside of normal operating hours as they discover artistic design principles through drawing, painting, and sculpting techniques! Led by Museum faculty and inspired by our current exhibitions, the Museums popular Art Camps teach kids how to look at, talk about, and create their own art. Each student receives an art supply kit containing all the materials they need, and the camp culminates in a one-day public exhibition of student work. Young artists explore drawing, painting mixed media, sculpture, and design as they visit the galleries to gather inspiration from exhibited artwork.
