Youth Ski Trip 2016 - Freedom, NH
Youth Ski Trip: for our 7th-12th grade students from Friday February 26th to Sunday February 28th we will be at Camp Calumet in West Ossipee, New Hampshire for a wonderful and blessed weekend of skiing and being in fellowship with one another. Make sure to sign up and get your forms located on the Sunday School Bulletin Board. Make sure to come to the meeting on February 7th before church at 8:30am to fill out paperwork, go over the weekend and to make payments. Friends are welcome! Cost is $130.00 per person this year and if you are in need of rentals or lessons, it will be an additional $24.00 each. Please make sure to attend our Brunch Fundraiser on February 7th after church to raise funds for travel and for our chaperones.

Morning: Robo Roller Derby The speed of a race, the competition of a battle, and the pressure of the clock… its a Robo-Roller Derby rumble! Lego robots take on a new set of hurdles as they duke it out on the track. Race the stop-watch and each other to be the first to complete all your laps without being torn apart in the challenge. Foul play is fair game in Robo-Roller Derby. Note: Even though between some weekly sessions there might appear the same program names, in our actual education program, we will have different depth of technology and engineering principles to be applied by our children under our inspirational guidance... Fly fishing is a sport that teaches patience, improves motor skills, and fosters an appreciation for nature. No one can walk away from losing a five minute battle with a stubborn trout without a deep respect for the fish! Students will learn the basics of fly fishing – setting up their rod and reel, knot typing, basic overhead casting, selecting the right fly, etc. Discussion will also include the history of fly fishing, how its different from other kinds of fishing, and entomology.
