Whitetail Resort's Kid's Adventure Camps - Mercersburg, PA
This day camp for children ages 7-12 offers an opportunity to experience many outdoor activities throughout the day. Campers arrive each morning ready to get outside and expand their horizons. They start the day with a game of kickball or a snack of fruit before heading to their first session. Each camper is placed with a group of peers to experience these adventure based programs. From navigating the resort with a compass to paddling kayaks on the reservoir, they are certain to work up an appetite. A healthy lunch is provided at our Tubing Lodge for their mid-day break before resuming activities in the afternoon. After lunch, it’s back to the woods for an archery lesson or to build wilderness huts. At the end of the day, campers return to the lodge for a snack and free time with their new friends before heading home. Get adventurous this summer! Join us at the Encinitas Skate Plaza for a week of skateboarding fun! Learn how to skate in a safe and controlled environment with expert instructors from the Neal Mims Skate Academy and SD Skatelife. This camp is designed to teach skateboards of any level. Come learn skateboarding fundamentals, meet guest professional skateboarders and make new friends. All participants must wear helmets, elbow and knee pads. 15 hours of tennis instruction in our 3-Day Tennis Camp. Research is what sets us apart from the rest. We will show you Super Slow motion of professional players and fundamentals at the highest level. Through Dartfish split screen analysis we will show you the efficiency of your stroke and how to improve in less time. This program features Dartfish video analysis of the forehands, backhands and serve. Other strokes covered throughout the 3 day program are volleys, return, approach shot, overhead and lob. With more time to practice and drill, the strokes-to-strategy emphasis allows the player to improve at a faster rate. The 3 day camp includes a free Private lesson CD ($75 value), and unlimited use of the tennis facility and ball machines. Ages 5-6, All levels of experience welcome Two weeks, Mon-Fri Mon June 6-17 12:30 PM-3:00 PM Cost: $165 tuition, $25-$50 off with early registration! Camp will conclude with an informal performance for family and friends. An introductory acting camp for ages 5-6. Over the last decade Ed Ruisz and Eric Markovcy have trained athletes ranging from youh league performers to Division I College players to NFL starters and even an Olympic Gold Medalist. They now are the Head Strength, Speed, and Conditioning Coaches at Lehigh University. Camp will be split by age and ability. Multiple coaches will be at each session. Sports included: baseball, basketball, field hockey, football, lacrosse, soccer, softball, and track & field Athletes choose the dates of their sessions.
