LATEST CAMPS NEWS: July 25-28: Volcanoes Rock! (Ages 5-6) - Mountain Kids!
New Mexico is one of the best places on earth to see volcanic rock formations and many types of rocks. We will travel to see volcanic tuff and learn how it was formed by a two volcanic eruptions more than a million years ago. We will go to the Valles Caldera to see the source of the eruption and participate in a service project there on a long day trip. We will learn the three types of rocks, play games with rocks, sing rock songs and make some rockin art! 505-699-6230

Youth Camp - Leakey, TX
We will be going to Alto Frio camp this summer in Leakey, Texas. Cost is $225 per person. Completed 7th - 12th. Initial non-refundable deposit of $25 is due by March 1, 2015 to ensure your spot. We will be holding our first fundraiser to help offset camp fees on 13th February -- Valentine's Day Banquet...so if you are planning on going to camp, please do your best to work the Banquet. The fundraiser can be used to offset costs for either Alto Frio or Camp Blessing.

Kid's Hoop Dance Camp! with Mariah McKay - Pensacola, FL
1:15- 3:15 each day, Monday July 18th through Thursday 21st. This kid's camp is a colorful mix of hooping, dance, play, movement and yoga designed to support physical fitness, encourage ecstatic expression and nurture self-esteem. During camp, students will have the opportunity to share what they have learned through dance, play, performance and hoop games. This unique fun fitness program enhances total body awareness, hand–eye coordination, increased flexibility and core strength. This class is designed for 3rd-5th grade students. The fun continues! For interested students with some acting experience. Well explore changing our voices and bodies to represent different characters from favorite and familiar stories like the Harry Potter series, The Wizard of Oz, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and The Secret Garden...perhaps well travel to Narnia. Students will get to stretch their wings a bit each week doing dramatic readings. Well include some fun theatre games and improv activities too!
