The Camelback Village Summer Fitness Camps left my children with wonderful memories. They have creative activities for children ages 2 through 12. My 5 year old twin daughters had great stories to share with us after spending time at this camp. Not only did they have fun, but they also learned to cook healthy food! Summer Camp 2016 - Tulatin, OR
Summer Camp 2016 is at Twin Rocks Friends Camp, August 1-5 for Middle and High School students. Students will participate in activities including basketball, volleyball, octo-ball, ping-pong, billiards, disc “Frisbee” golf, miniature golf, Spring Lake for swimming, canoeing, and blobbing, and have life-changing moments including services with Donnie Moore and high energy worship music. The entire camp is designed to build relationships and experience the presence of God. Don’t miss it!
Berrien County Riders 2016 Annual MDA Summer Camp Run - Saint Joseph,
10 am sign up at the mark. $20.00 driver $10.00 rider. Ride leaves at noon on a scenic route to the Dowagiac Moose and then back to playland hall on Nickerson Ave. Lunch and dinner supplied. Cash bar. Door prizes and silent auction. We want to make this one of the largest events we have done for MDA and send as many kids to camp as we can at no charge to them. (Ages 4-7) Our youngest artists will have an exciting time becoming printmakers. Students will engage in group activities designed to promote teamwork and creative thinking through the creation of a collaborative class project, will make their own stamps and printing plates, use an etching press and have a stomping good time with Miss Marjorie! Storytellers (Ages 4-7) Storytelling helps students improve their language skills, instills a love of reading and stirs imaginations. In this first-time class, talented professor of visual art Jennifer Pepper will guide students through painting, drawing and mixed media activities based on a variety of classic and contemporary children’s stories. Clarinet Camps - Clarinet Camp - MacPhail Center for Music - Minneapolis
Designed for high school students, Clarinet Camp covers topics from clarinet assembly and reed care to history and repertoire. Students will be placed in small ensembles to play clarinet-only repertoire which will be featured in a final performance at the end of the week for family and friends. During small ensemble rehearsals and classes, well discuss clarinet specific topics including: how the reeds/mouthpieces/ligatures we choose affect our performance, various styles of clarinet playing, the acoustics and history of the instrument and emergency repair. Advanced Skills & Development - (6-8y) - Overland Park
This is a recreational & competitive level camp open to boys and girls 6-14 years-old. Players will improve their technical abilities and footwork with the soccer ball through practicing proper mechanics of dribbling, receiving, turning and control. Having technically sound foot skills give players a competitive edge in progressing to tactical application in game-like scenarios. After completion of the Advanced Skills & Development camp, we recommend progressing to the Dribbling & Passing camp. Resident Camper: $525 (June 18- 21)Day Camper: $400 (June 23-26)WHO CAN ATTEND: The camp is designed for all female gymnasts ages 7 and up, from beginner to elite. Previous experience is recommended. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- FACILITIES: Gymnasts will train in the Bev Lewis Center. This multimillion dollar facility is home to the Razorback Gymnastics Team. The training gym is considered to beone of the finest facilities in the country. Dedicated in April 2003, the center is named for Womens Athletic Director Bev Lewis.
