Boot Camp Fitness Class to Support New York Road Runners' (NYRR) Youth
Join us on Sunday, July 10th for a special one-hour Boot Camp Fitness Class to support New York Road Runners' (NYRR) Youth Programs, which serve over 200,000 students annually with free running and fitness experiences. During this special Boot Camp Fitness Class hosted by Michelle Stiglitz, you will sweat your way through a series of various exercise all to support a good cause. The class will be held outdoors in Clove Lakes park. We will meet promptly at 9:00am on the Martling Avenue Bridge (near the Staten Island Zoo parking lot) Please bring a mat or towel and a bottle of water. *All fitness levels are welcome to participate! This class is designed to serve children desiring an extra year of preschool and/or those who are able to thrive in an accelerated preschool curriculum. Middle School "Budding Stars" Tennis Camp - The Prairie School
A limited number of students who love the game and are willing to work will be enrolled in this class. Students must be entering grades 5 through 8 unless approved by an instructor. Half of the class is instruction and drills, and the other half is supervised play. Again this year, we are excited to offer supervised match­-play on Friday mornings, included in the weekly class fee! -- All classes are held on the Prairie School tennis courts, and class sizes are limited. The primary instructor for tennis is Nich Schafer. Private lessons are also available. Basketball (6/20-6/24) (AM) - MA Lower School
This camp will emphasize basic skills, playing as a team, and sportsmanship. Instruction will focus on the fundamentals of basketball in a setting of encouragement and confidence building. Drills to improve skills will be added, and games will focus on team play and tactical understanding.
