Summer Junior Golf Camp Mitchell Spearman Golf Camps are week-long day camps for golfers of all abilities. While one week can be a perfect introduction to the game or much needed fine tuning (depending on skill level) we find that many of our golfers attending for several weeks enjoy an exponential rate of growth in both learning and FUN! We believe a good golf game starts with a positive learning experience and strive to provide that for our golfers! We are all about golf! Please select the golfer experience and identify the week/weeks your golfer will attend. Clearly identify which week/(s) of attendance so that we may reserve your slot for camp. 3rd - 5th grade girls: Kids with Wings- Writing & Reading Camp - Saint Marys School
A reading and writing camp designed for 3rd – 5th grade girls. In a guided reading setting the girls will read and discuss childrens literature that focuses on building girls self-esteem. The curriculum includes a daily writing activity that will focus on grade appropriate writing skills and a creative art activity related to each book we read. We will also spend time outside playing games that will build positive friendship skills. Each day will include a snack, lunch and pool time. DeAnna Huffines graduated from Saint Marys in 1983 from high school and 1985 from College. She then attended Meredith College where she majored in education. Robotics Day Ages 6 - 9 - Bricks
Who wouldnt want to play with robots all day? We will work in teams to invent awesome contraptions to preform creative tasks and challenges. Campers will also enjoy playing robotics related activity games that encourage problem solving and critical thinking. Of course, no robot day is complete without a battle or two.
