Radiant Camp - Radiant Camp
What is Radiant Camp? Radiant Camp is a camp experience like none other! After attending Radiant Camp, each student walks away with new friendships and having been able to experience God in a deeper and brand new way. With strategically planned adventure activities and powerful chapel services, this will be the best week of the summer for your student. Who can come to Radiant Camp? Kids Camp and Youth Camp take place at the same time and in the same location, but run on separate schedules, so that students experience a camp appropriate to their age group: * Kids Camp is for students entering 3rd-5th grades next fall (younger grades must be at least 8 years old at the start of camp) * Youth Camp is for students entering 6th-9th grades next fall When and where does Radiant Camp happen? Radiant Camp takes place August 11-15, 2015 at Grace Adventures Camp in Silver Lake, Michigan. Football Camp K­ - 5th - SCDS
This football camp starts our young players with a love for the game and correct instruction to play the game. Young boys love to run and jump and play. Many of them also love to roll around and tussle. If you have such a boy, we would like to help him channel these natural inclinations into a love of the game of football, and to guide him in learning the fundamentals of how to run, throw, catch, kick, block, and tackle. Staffed by SCDS coaches and players the camp will guide youngsters toward an understanding of the basics. Campers will gain an understanding of football rules, terminology, and basic strategy. Each day will include individual instruction as well as competitive flag football games. Athletes of all experience levels are welcome and no equipment is required other than cleats/sneakers, athletic clothes and a willingness to play hard and have fun. Rookies Multi Sport - Cross Timbers Middle School
Bowmen Rookies is an introduction to team sports designed for players of all skills and abilities. Program time will focus on fun-based games and drills. Sammy Slug Summer Camp, Session #8b, Half Day - Youth Programs
Sammy Slug Summer Camp is offered by the Office of Physical Education, Recreation & Sports (OPERS) for boys and girls entering 1st through 6th grades. Based at the East Field House, this camp is offered in one-week sessions June to August. There are half day and full day options, and pre-camp and post camp care is available. Throughout the week the 5 camp tenants which are Responsibility, Respect, Leadership, Sportsmanship, and Team Building are reinforced and integrated into the curriculum. Camp activities include a variety of sports such as basketball, tennis, frisbee, and soccer; outdoor recreation such as hiking and swimming; and other arts, crafts and outings to keep the campers engaged, active and creative. With a camper to staff ratio of 10:1, the camp focuses on creating a safe environment with a program designed, implemented, and staffed by experienced recreation professionals and UCSC students. U.P. Python Golf Team Spring 2015 AGES 6-9 Co-Ed - The Courses at Watters Creek
The U.P. Python Golf Team is the perfect vehicle to introduce kids to the game of golf. Fun, friends and positive coaching are the key elements along with spending the majority of all practice time on the golf course. NTPGA Team Golf Tournaments will provide fun opportunities to compete in tournaments that will be "scaled down" to fit the beginning golfers abilities. The team will practice on Wednesdays from 4:15-5:30pm at Watters Creek and Saturday morning from 9:30-10:45 at Keeton Park. ***Please note the two different practice locations. PGA Golf Professional Chuck Higgins will coach the Pythons. Fee includes all practices, coaching and Python SWAG. THIS IS FOR THE BRAND NEW OR BEGINNING GOLFER AS WELL AS ACTIVE PLAYERS. DONT WORRY THAT YOUR CHILD IS NOT "GOOD ENOUGH" TO BE ON THIS TEAM, MY GOAL IS TO INTRODUCE THE GAME OF GOLF IN A WAY THAT WILL ALLOW THAT TO FALL IN LOVE WITH THE SPORT.
