How Is Medication Handled On Site?
Summer camps employ qualified nurses and med-certified staff to ensure that all medication, controlled or over-the-counter, is properly handled. There are also a number of CPR- and First Aid- trained staff members who can assist in medical situations. All of the program’s employees are given a basic training on first aid as well as on the importance of identifying and dealing with allergies and asthma. These staff members are also given information about common mental health conditions like depression and ADHD/ADD. All medication is locked up. 2016 Walk A Kid To Camp (-athon) - Puyallup, WA
The Salvation Army is hosting a walkathon to raise funds to help send children to summer camp. We offer several camp sessions lasting from three to eight days for children of various ages. Your child will be supervised by caring on-site counselors.There are three types of camping experiences for children ranging in age from six to sixteen which include; residential camps, day camps and teen wilderness camps. We need help raising the funds to supporting sending children to camp. Join us June 4 and help us send children to summer camp.

Summer Camp Music Festival - Chillicothe, IL
We are happy to announce we will be teaming up with Summer Camp Music Festival to host an ‘Art That Feeds’ Food Drive in Chillicothe, Illinois from May 22-24, 2015. All food donations will benefit the East Peoria Area Food Bank in Peoria, Illinois. One of our very talented artist is creating a Summer Camp event poster, which will be FREE to patrons who donate 20 non-perishable food items or a suggested monetary donation. Food donations will be collected at the Conscious Alliance ‘Art That Feeds’ Gallery, which will be depicted on the Summer Camp Festival guide and map. Conscious Alliance always encourages food donations to be low-sodium and health oriented products. ORGANIC food donations are especially encouraged. RAMEN NOODLES will NOT be accepted for the free poster. Thank you for your continued support in feeding the hungry everywhere the music plays!

Gather your future campers! On February 27th, families from all over Central Indiana are invited to join us at the 27th Annual Indy's Child Magazine Summer Camp Fair. More than 60 overnight camp, day camp and summer program exhibitors will be on hand to answer your questions. Plan your child's summer of fun all in one day. To top it off, there will also be lots of fun entertainment from face painters, our prize wheel, mock covers, and much more.
