Annual Camping & Kid Fish Event in the Park - W.m. Brook Park
The annual camping and kid fish event will be held on June 5-6, 2015 at W. M. Brook Park. Registration will be held on Friday, June 5th at 6pm followed by a hot dog supper, movie in the park (The Goonies) , and campfire fun. Participants can then go camping or fishing. Youre going to have fun, make new friendships, and maybe even meet your competitors. Youll also get some one on one advice from experienced coaches and athletes. Every day a Guest Olympian or an Elite Athlete will stop by to tell you their story and answer your questions. Youll leave with a plan and access to your camp coach through emails and phone calls until the end of cross country season. You can even bring your coach back home into the conversation. Whats Different? We love the camps with 200 runners sleeping in tents and getting crazy. Thats not this camp though. Youll be at Lewis and Clark College voted 2 nd nicest campus in the U.S. It has miles of running trails connected to the campus, a swimming pool, game room, and everything we need for camp. Join Blue Compass Camps for an exploration of the Beautiful Olympic Peninsula this Spring Break. We will hike, explorer history, visit the beach and the mountains. This trip will be as varied as the Olympics itself. We will spent time exploring coastal towns, majestic beaches and stepping into the rain forest around the Hoh River. As is the case with all Blue Compass Camps outdoor adventures: 1.) Our Goals, beyond having ridiculous amounts of fun with newly made friends, are to help develop social and self confidence while providing an exciting, challenging and unforgettable adventure experience. 2.)
