This camp is for kids that love robots. Our entire camp will be spent on different types of robotics building and programming activities. We will use consumer robotics, like LEGO Mindstorm, and also create custom solutions with hobby robotics platforms, like Arduino. Kids will take home an awesome Arduino robot for ongoing invention! An Artistic Exploration - Old Trail School
Each day is a new adventure! Campers will spend the morning traveling to a variety of locations and enjoy an afternoon creating works of art that directly relate to that days adventure. Campers will visit the magical Akron Civic Theatre, wild Akron Zoo, beautiful Stan Hywet Hall and Gardens, fascinating Akron Art Museum and fun Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railway. This camp provides a strong Front End Web Development foundation as students learn user interface design and coding in HTML 5, CSS 3, JavaScript. Mobile Game Development Students learn to design and code a mobile game App using Unity, a professional game development platform widely used by independent (indie) game developers and studios, and C#, an industry standard object-oriented programming language.
