Teen Power Camp Begins Tuesday, 1 December! :) - Apollo Beach, FL
It's here! The Fall edition of our Teen Power Camp provides a fundamental fitness foundation for any high school student, scaled to anyone from first timers just trying to get into shape to high school athletes looking for structured off-season training or additional in-season work. The Teen Power Program will introduce athletes to bodyweight exercises, gymnastics, powerlifting and basic olympic weightlifting, all while under the close supervision of a certified CrossFit instructor. Our goal is to teach local Teens how to safely and efficiently move their body and external objects (bars, kettlebells, medicine balls, etc) through space, dramatically improving body composition and improving athletic ability in anyone. Our program is designed to increase stamina, strength, power, endurance, coordination, balance, accuracy and flexibility in any person, all while in a team environment filled with positive people. Every workout is scaled to ANY teens capacity. Teens must be at least 13 years of age and emotionally mature. Cost is $119 per month for children of Apogee members and $139 for children of non-Apogee members Class runs 330-430pm every Tuesday and Thursday. Interested? Children grades 1st and up are welcome to join us in the first annual Ultimate Fitness Clinic. This summer camp will teach discipline, self-respect, respect for others, and overall wellness all in a UFC fitness inspired class. Kids will learn valuable life disciplines and the importance of physical fitness and healthy nutrition. Grandmas, Moms and Tots camps are designed for moms, grandmas and children ages 3-7 as a mini-retreat to be filled with memories and fun. Please note that a $75 fee per camper will be charged automatically to register online. To avoid this and pay a one time registration fee of $75 overall you may contact our office. Camp Will is a specialized therapeutic summer day camp for children, adolescents and young adults (ages 6 through 23 years) with developmental and intellectual disabilities. Our goal is to build confidence and self esteem, enhance social skills, foster independence, and provide an exciting and fun-filled summer through various activities, such as music, art, sports, recreation therapy, and more. This online registration is the first step of a two step process to enroll your child in Camp Will. Lenape Sess IV Post -Camp (Aug 10 to 14) Post-Camp will be offered at the Plainsboro Recreation & Cultural Center from 3:00 to 6:00 pm Games, activities and movies will be available. Snacks will be provided.
