Great Family Camp
My girls love Camp Wayfarer and we go every year. It is an action packed camp for both girls and boys. They really cater to families, too. My girls really love the dance activities, but they also learned a lot in the environmental and marine biology portions. They rode horses, learned a lot about the performing arts, they learned tennis this year and next year they want to get more into golf. IN CASE OF STEADY RAIN CAMP WILL BE RESCHEDULED FOR A LATER DATE. RULES: * $25 per child CASH ONLY no checks or credit cards *Parents will not be allowed on the fields but may watch from outside the fence. This is to insure crowd control and make sure the children can focus on the coaches. *No Refunds *All waivers must be completed and turned in before your child is allowed to enter the practice field. PARKING available at METZ or near the OHS practice field back entrance. * No abusive language towards volunteers coaches or staff. If this becomes a problem you will be asked to leave immediately. Advanced Development Camp: Session 3 - Cabin John Regional Park
Big Train Manager Sal Colangelo has designed these camps for advanced training for young players with above-average skills. On Monday, Big Train players and coaches will lead the campers through a series of drills designed to improve skills and choose teams for the weeks showcase games. Each day from Tuesday through Friday, camp will begin with one hour of skills training followed by a 7-inning showcase game on Field #2. Each camper will receive an official Big Train & BCC Baseball Summer Camp t-shirt that will entitle the camper free admission to all Big Train home games at Shiryley Povich Field during the 2015 regular season.
