Sewing camp is a wonderful opportunity to learn a new skill that will last a lifetime! In this sewing camp, your child will learn a variety of hand-machine-sewing skills. They will learn to comfortably use the sewing machine and practice basic sewing stitches. We will make projects such as pillows, iPod holders, tote bags, aprons, draw string bags, book covers, water bottle holders and more. As a final project, campers will learn the art of quilting. We will provide all the colorful, beautiful fabrics, and the materials. On Friday, the campers will prepare snacks and lunch as part of their camp experience. Teen Power Camp Begins Tuesday, 1 December! :) - Apollo Beach, FL
It's here! The Fall edition of our Teen Power Camp provides a fundamental fitness foundation for any high school student, scaled to anyone from first timers just trying to get into shape to high school athletes looking for structured off-season training or additional in-season work. The Teen Power Program will introduce athletes to bodyweight exercises, gymnastics, powerlifting and basic olympic weightlifting, all while under the close supervision of a certified CrossFit instructor. Our goal is to teach local Teens how to safely and efficiently move their body and external objects (bars, kettlebells, medicine balls, etc) through space, dramatically improving body composition and improving athletic ability in anyone. Our program is designed to increase stamina, strength, power, endurance, coordination, balance, accuracy and flexibility in any person, all while in a team environment filled with positive people. Every workout is scaled to ANY teens capacity. Teens must be at least 13 years of age and emotionally mature. The Princeton Field Hockey coaching staff has designed the Elite Camp for the athlete and the team who have aspirations to take their game to the next level. We encourage you to make this your high school team camp. In the months leading up to the camp, the Princeton coaching staff will work with your HS coach to ensure we are working toward your team goals for the upcoming season. We will address tactical areas, individual skill development and team direction. For the camper coming to camp as an individual, we will place you on a team with other athletes of a similar experience level. Individual skill will be developed during the morning sessions, while afternoon and evening sessions will be devoted to team tactics and team building. Sessions will be held on Bedford Field, the world class water-astroturf home of the 2012 National Champion Princeton Tigers, as well as the field turfs at 1952 Stadium and Plummer Field at Roberts Stadium.
